Maine Restaurant Week kicked off today, March 1, across the state with many restaurants featuring great special menus for the occasion which lasts through March 12. A handful of restaurants in the Greater Portland area are participating in the Winter version of Maine Restaurant Week which gives foodies a chance to sample a number of dishes at their favorite eateries while also encouraging new customers to check out the area establishments.
